Extra Innings

I just noticed the missions for XP by playing Extra Innings games. I havent played any of these in years. How do you get to all the teams. I have a choice of about 5-7 and they just kind of randomly change. Before you could play anyones team. Are you just stuck with the random teams now? Where are the yetis? lol

I think it's just teams from other users. No cpu made up teams.

I think it's just teams from other users. No cpu made up teams.
Yeah I understand that. But we use to be able to select anyone's team. I could select the team you have loaded for example. Or you mine. Now there are only 8 options of everyone that plays. No biggie though. Im just gonna get these 5 wins.
Back in the day there were some user made teams that were horrible we use to grind against. Most famous one was called The Yetis. Think it was a team of all catchers lol.

Not sure how it was in years past but this year they randomly pick a team from each division of ranked each day

Astros got swept by the Orioles at some point this year. Got swept by a lot of sub .500 teams this year seems like. But give them the Sox, Red or White, the A's or Angels and no problem lol.

I'm happy with the series win with the last two games being a shutout! Funny thing is looking at the Wild Card standings and seeing the M's are up over the Blue Jays by a game, but the M's have a run differential of -56 while the Jays run differential is +117! The difference in run differential between those two teams is 173 runs but the M's have two more wins while having played two more games than the Jays.

Yeah, Im absolutely flustered by the last two Stros games lol. And Toro beat us both games. If we aint gonna blame the goose eggs they put up lol.

Yeah, read the missions in the 6th inn program. 17500 XP points to be had overall. I need 1 more win for the 7500. I have the 5k for both Awards cards and Milestones already.

Just keep refreshing the Spring Training team that shows up and eventually you'll find a sub 80 team that is easy to beat. I do miss playing the Yetis, which was a team full of out of position common catchers and common pitchers..

MLBtS ain't perfect, but this is just another example of how SDS respects its "offline" players and doesn't simply engage in predatory, EA-style milking of its fan base.
Give credit where it's due.
