Why do I miss this feature? Does anyone else miss it?

This is true, but it did usually have some decent cards available, I remember getting a Dave Stieb from the ticket counter and being happier than a pig in sh**. I guess the player programs are its replacement which isn’t too bad, even though i despise moments.

Yeah 99 Beltran was a ticket counter player as well.

Yeah 99 Beltran was a ticket counter player as well.
SDS needs to get his rights back, I was just wondering if the ball I hit with him at coors has landed yet.

Ticket counter was solid. It would allow you to pick up cards you needed without having to dive Stubbs first into the market. Also gave players a reason to log on and check stuff out in between content drops.

Ticket counter was an interesting concept, but what makes MLB The Show great compared to every other video game's ultimate team mode is that there is only one currency that is used for everything. Every other game has multiple currencies and it just mucks things up.
