Madden for a Day, then Back to MLBtS

God, switching over to Madden for even an hour makes you appreciate all the little things about the Show that make it a positive experience.
Like clean, aesthetically pleasing, snappy menus. Madden's are a mess. They actually hurt my head.
And as much as we moan about gameplay here, there are a multitude of things on every play in Madden that are literally -- really: literally -- broken.
So nice to have my refund, have that pile of [censored] off my home screen, and be back to MLBtS.

Yea it’s sad what has happened to madden since like 2013. It’s basically a Telltale game now we’re you just select a play and set up, then click a button and hope for an animation that favors you. The animation based gameplay is atrocious. All rng.

Yikes! I was kind of wanting the new Madden game. I used to LOVE the Madden games back in the day, but I've somehow fallen out of the loop in recent years. A streamer I watch play MLB The Show was playing the new Madden, and it nabbed my interest, and I got to thinking about getting it. Since I was so late to the party getting interested though, I haven't yet put together the spare money to pick it up.
Seeing posts like this though, I'm thinking about changing my mind.

I can't get past the menus. They're so obnoxious, glitchy -- photosensitivity nightmare. It's a garish assault on the senses.
I really like the updates to Franchise, but won't subject myself to the gameplay (animation-based is RIGHT ON) and UI. Atrocious.

Madden sucks.

Madden and NBA 2K are neck and neck in terms of awful menu navigation and clunkiness.
