DD is better than Other sport games card collecting mode

I took a break away from DD for a while during a slump and I started to play other sports games (NBA 2K MyTeam: Madden, Fifa, and NHL UT). I found out to compare to the others, DD is still the better mode, I said better, not best. I didn't try to play in FIFA and NHL so I comparing MyTeam, MUT with DD.
One reason is the cards, DD's cards tier is simple. 4 tiers: Bronze, silver, gold, and diamond as MyTeam has 13 tiers as well MUT has 45 program cards as DD has 18 series cards. To compare one player from each. Tom Brady has six cards, Lebron has 12 cards and five of his cards are 99, and Griffey Jr. will have three cards. Three is the usual maximum number of the same person in DD so DD doesn't have repetitive cards.
Another reason is creativity, DD has the best creative opportunities: create a stadium, logo, and uniform. 2K does have that but you need a certain amount of cards (50). None of EA's UT has that option, FIFA does have a stadium creation but it's very linear and not open to compare to The Show.
Gameplay is different for everyone so I left it to you.

DD also has a very user friendly market which makes stubs easy to come by. It’s easier to be NMS and still basically have any card you want.
The thing DD lacks is offline content that you use your team for. MUT has solo battles, which can be a grind after awhile, but it’s an easy way generate stubs, get packs, and try players out. You can also use your team for most of their solos.

I tried 2K21 recently (it was on sale) after a long break and the MyTeam mode was disturbing with their contracts and manic layout. DD is so sleek and user-friendly in comparison. If DD ever does contracts, I’m outta here in a heartbeat too though.

I tried 2K20 I think it was when the PS Store had it on sale for $3 and once I saw there were contracts, I was done with it. Also, I was never a fan of the idea of auction houses in either 2k or Madden. I would rather deal with the marketplace of MLB the Show. I can make an order and let it sit for a day if I want on the Show. For the others, I felt the need to babysit my bids near the end of the auction just to get sniped at the last second.

I think 2K put contracts because they want the player to spend on more microtransaction on the same person, just with a different card design

The Show having one single currency (stubs) also kinda gets taken for granted. In 2K you have to buy VC... which is used to open packs (with horrendous odds). MT is the currency to buy a player on the AH. So basically you can't spend money and just buy a card you want from the marketplace.

2K21 makes it easy to build a good team, of course all that is dashed by the stupid contracts. That's a kick to the balls. It's a great way to dash your excitement.
