Will a maxed out meter fastball appear faster to the batter than a PPP FB? Meter Pitch confidence vs PPP.
-
Been using meter for fun. I was wondering if you max out a fastball in meter do you gain an advantage in velocity vs PPP? I also noticed late in the game when I was rolling all of my pitches gained the big yellow tick mark, even the ones that weren’t full in confidence. Does this correlate to PPP and if so how?
Last question is how do people paint the white EVERY time when the gray circle around the ball shouldn’t allow for it. I have played several opponents that consistently hit the black with pitchers who have large grey circles around the pitches when I use them. From my understanding a perfect pitch will go somewhere in that circle, so how are they spotting it in the exact center consistently?

Depending on what mode you use (PPP or Meter) the halo around the ball shrinks a bit when you use PPP. They are really trying to get guys off of meter for some reason and you constantly get pitches that float back in the zone. If you know how to use PP, use it! I just don't feel like learning something new, so I'll stick to the floaters.

I use PPP, but just used meter for a bit and it got me wondering about pitching mechanics. In regards to my question….for instance I’ve played a guy that was painting with Chapman and I know from using Chapman with PPP that he has a significant circle around his aim marker. How were they able to accomplish throwing sliders in followed by a painted fastball in every time?

I would say Cronus Zen, but I don't want to get shot by the community LOL. I honestly don't understand how that circle works. I just figure if someone is dotting corners constantly, they have to be using PPP. I've had many perfect inputs and the ball still floats back in the zone with the smaller circle around the pitch marker.
