Play vs CPU is not a replacement for a more goal oriented offline DD mode. People rerun the US conquest map not because it is great fun to do so but because it has an end goal and a reward, even if you get all bronzes from the 10 pack bundle.

The Show 18 it was entirely devoted to stat grinds and the only way to grind them offline were repeated runs of the conquest map or Play vs CPU. It was the version of the game I played the least. I only put about 50 hours into the game that year before I realized that it just was not fun.

How many online players would continue to play ranked seasons if there was no end to the season and it provided no rewards for playing beyond XP.

Or simply use play v.s cpu. The stats don't count for online missions, but you can still parallel your players and gain some good XP towards the inning programs.

Play vs. CPU would be better if you could at least toggle between live series and all-time team builds. I don't play offline a lot, but when I do it isn't really satisfying destroying a team of silvers and bronzes with a stacked squad. You can up the difficulty, but it would be nice if the teams themselves were a bit more even and it should be an easy enough fix. If the computer can autogenerate squads for you in events, it should be able to autogenerate the best possible team for a virtual opponent when you go into a Play vs. CPU game.

All you have to do is go to standings, and find a ws team. You have the option to play an offline game against that team.

Extra innings games are not the same as what I recommended. Yes, it would be a stronger team to face, but it would be nice of you could just face all time builds from each team. They've done it before with moments programs. It shouldn't be that hard to do.

I've always liked this idea. Upping the Difficulty puts POTM Buxton in the lineup instead of Live Series...etc. Increased Difficulty off line should make the TEAM Harder, not the AI Controlling it. Didn't they kind of do this back in '18 or '19. The moments that let us use our DD squads...I remember Sig Jason Kendall was like one of the First Rewards. The teams got more and more stacked the further you went??

That's true. I don't really care that much about playing an all-time team build, just against a team full of great players. But that's just me, and I know that there are a lot of others who do want to. Good luck, but I don't know if that will ever happen. Heck, I'd like to be able to go into batting practice, and be able to select any pitcher in the game, but I don't know if that will ever happen either.

The only mode or additional I want to see if a vs CPU mode where you have to beat all 30 teams on all star. Now could you turn this into a monthly program I think so where once all 30 are beat you get a player reward much like the daily moments

How about, I want an "offline" mode that uses my DD squad, 9 inning games, and has some sort of structure and reward path.

Would it be that hard to implement?

i've been saying this for years and can't believe it's still not an option:

Let us lock in a roster of players and do a playoffs mode. It solves the problem of us wanting to play modes that play with players we have, and it creates stakes.

Think about how fun it was in Pokemon games back in the day to face the elite 4 over and over again with different parties.

    I definitely agree with this.

Not everyone has the internet, the time to get better or wants to drop $$ on a specific monitor to help them better compete online.

And for people saying "just play RTTS or Franchise" are missing the point.

One great thing about DD is not everyone plays the same and I feel like there should be more options for the people that prefer offline mode. As of now its basically just playing the US conquest map over and over or playing random cpu games.

Why do people not want more content, offline ranked seasons would be good for a good majority of players that probably can’t really sweat a 45 minute ranked came, maybe the have kids, or something that they have to walk away from the game… Plus they can release more cards, I see it as more content and a win…
