I did prepare and I make WS pretty much every season kid… for me it’s not an issue to earn the cards, dang it if I had as much time to play like I had two seasons ago I’d probably make WS and get 40 wins and sell of the rewards while the prices are still “high”.

Haha no, although that might be closer to my level than the ws 12-0 people I always get pair against. Nonetheless I will stand strong on what I said earlier "some cards should be hard to obtain".
There's just to much given away, which is fine, but not when an entire group of people have to earn the cards before they were made so easily obtainable. And I'm not talking about weeks down the road (that is understandable) but they sank the prices in this collection before it even came out.

I'm not saying I necessarily agree or disagree either way. I get the argument and I feel a little salty sometimes too. I don't play nearly as much as I'd like just because of my busy life. But I've put in a fair share of grinding and have all the TAs done, 42 and LS. But I think people just assume everyone has an insane 98 overall team. Hell a vast amount of people don't even play RS or online even. Many people just go after a theme team or just players they like. No matter how you look at it people either grind or spend $ on the game. If someone doesn't grind enough odds are they don't have the same cards you do. They may have a TA3 98 overall card that is good. So what? They don't have your "cool rare" 99 overall Chipper. In the end it comes down to people wanting to "first to get" cards and want rarer cards. It's human nature to want to be the best and have the best. I'll take my 99 overall Chipper over someone having a 98 overall AS Devers for example. They are both good cards but the rarity of Chipper is cool. Honestly, it all comes down to personal talent anyways. It doesn't matter who you have on your team if you aren't good at the game, when it comes to online play. A team of Topps now cards could easily beat a God Squad if the player was good.

Some cards ARE hard to obtain. You have to take a step back though and look at the big picture. Your idea of hard to obtain and someone else's can be completely different. Doesn't mean either way of looking at it is right or wrong, it's just how it is.

The game has gone downhill for years, starting with potms. Next year they'll probably give everyone who pre-orders a LS Trout. I first started playing in 16, and once I discovered dd, was immediately pulled in. Now they just give everything away, and give every scrub a 99.
It’s crazy…. I’m not saying that not everyone should get him but the players who prepared should be rewarded for 1) getting the card early and 2) selling any extra cards for a huge profit.

I'm not a world series player, but I'm tired of putting in hours upon hours preparing for collections, flipping cards, investing stubs, playing hour and hours of offline boring games just so I can achieve something that sds will give away at the last minute.
100% when I first started playing you had to earn the WS reward. Now all you need to do is win 40 games. It takes away from the players who actually earn the card. Same goes with the collection… a player like you who invested and prepared for this collection since day 1 should be able to get it fairly quickly while selling your extra cards for a huge profit. The flash sale will impact that

Shiit 40 wins!! I never even play ranked and just buy every ws reward card. They have all dropped below 140k so far this year. This collection turned out to be hot garbage anyway.

The flash sale shouldn't affect a lot of the cards. Most of the collections aren't from packs but from rewards. Only cards LS and cards from packs like AS and HRD will go lower.
It’s probably going to be AS, HRD, Kitchen Sink & Space packs…. It’s going to be too easy to attain the collection reward. That’s an L in my opinion.
Casual players paid for the game as well. Everybody deserves a chance at using top tier cards.
There’s a difference between earning and getting things handed to you. If you didn’t prepare you shouldn’t be able to get the collection done fast. These flash sales will enable people (probably like you) who didn’t prepare at all, to get the cards at a discount. In my opinion bigger collections shouldn’t be easy to obtain. Just like they gave you a gift this year being able to get World Series rewards when without it you couldn’t sniff World Series

I'm not a world series player, but I'm tired of putting in hours upon hours preparing for collections, flipping cards, investing stubs, playing hour and hours of offline boring games just so I can achieve something that sds will give away at the last minute.
100% when I first started playing you had to earn the WS reward. Now all you need to do is win 40 games. It takes away from the players who actually earn the card. Same goes with the collection… a player like you who invested and prepared for this collection since day 1 should be able to get it fairly quickly while selling your extra cards for a huge profit. The flash sale will impact that

The game has gone downhill for years, starting with potms. Next year they'll probably give everyone who pre-orders a LS Trout. I first started playing in 16, and once I discovered dd, was immediately pulled in. Now they just give everything away, and give every scrub a 99.
It’s crazy…. I’m not saying that not everyone should get him but the players who prepared should be rewarded for 1) getting the card early and 2) selling any extra cards for a huge profit.
40 wins isn't earning those rewards? Yeah, ok bro! That is a weakass flex!
