I'm 47 and this is the only game I've ever played online competitively. I'm not able to chat or send messages to my opponents during a game -- do I have something unkowingly disabled? Or are these not features in MLBtS? I'm clueless about this.
PS5, by the way.

It might be on the other players end. A lot of people who play this online have their messages turned off because of how many people just send continuous harassing messages asking for hits with certain players

Also, I don't think you can message the other player if they happen to be on xbox.

I’ve debated turning off my messages. Only once in the last 3 years have I had a positive exchange on the PS message board.
