Content after season ends?

Xbox player here so forgive my ignorance...
I've played madden ultimate team for the last 5 or so years from about august thru march (sometimes may/june just depends on a lot of things)..There are a lot of things I like better about diamond dynasty in mlb the show versus madden ultimate team and I don't think I'll have time to commit to both so I might just not get madden for once and stick with this as it's a lot more enjoyable.
My question is, does SDS continue to release content after the season and what has it looked like typically if they do? How long do they do releases til? We are just about to start the 5th inning program and they seem to come in 4 week rotations so is it still possible we go all the way to 9 inning programs?
If anyone isn't familiar with madden ultimate team, they usually release quite a bit of content thru about easter or so (2 months after the super bowl) and then it starts to taper off with the last updates coming around early july so there isn't much of a gap between that and the next game's release,

Roster updates end right after the playoffs, you might get 1 more season of BR and RS after the playoffs, in sure this year daily moments will continue. Probably 1 or 2 more inning programs. That being said events is the only thing that really carries on after the New Years conquest map

They previously had programs up to the 11th inning.

New Content tends to dry up around the end of November. You'll still see a couple of new things (8 new cards released after 11/27/19. 9 new cards released after 11/25/20.)
You will still see new Ranked Seasons (just with old rewards) every month until they turn the servers off in 2026 or so. And you'll see things like "Everyone gets a 10 Pack Bundle for Christmas!" or "Happy Valentines Day, Here's a 42 Pack!" But at that point, the focus will be on MLBTS22.

4 stages in team affinity usually, 11 innings the last two years.

We will get at least 9, although it's been 11 the last 2 years. 9 takes us through December so I'm guessing probably 10 unless the release of 22 is pushed back into April again. Last year there were 4 team affinities, and the first year of multiple parts. I'm guessing 5 this year

Thank you all for the responses. I too was a long time MUT player but the format for DD is so much better, so it's been very helpful to hear how long it will be before content really runs dry. Thanks.

I feel like i wrote this thread.I too have been a mut player the last 5-6 years and had thoughts on skipping it this year.So tired of the pay to play syndrome,where as The show you dont have to spend a dime to have a good team.
