Injuries

I've played Madden (MUT) for 6 years and this is my 3rd year playing Diamond Dynasty (more so this year - and only OFFLINE)....
But I experienced my 1st injury (I hit a rocket off the CPU's pitcher's head)....I was surprised to see that the dude was actually injured and had to be replaced.
How common is this? This is the only time I've experienced it, so was kind of surprised!

it happened to me once in the 6th inning ranked seasons game of a no hitter by fergie jenkins.. i was so mad because I had to replace him and had nobody warming up in the bullpen. was losing by the end of that inning

Not real common. It used to be a few years back. It really shouldn’t ever happen online but it does every now and then.

happened to someone who i was facing who kept on diving on foul balls even though they were far...injured his player

Its almost non-existent at this point. I actually kind of miss injuries in online play since it basically required you to put some thought into line up creation and bench. The down side would be that most people don't want to be forced to not play with their best players.
It was, however, the sweetest feeling to watch people try to be trolls on pop flys and randomly dive with their OFs only to get injury message after the play ended and have them rage quit.

I wish they had injuries on for that reason I hate when people dive for no reason

thats exactly what happened to fergie jenkins in my game "appears to be nothing but a bruise" yeah ok
