IS THE LIVE COLLECTION WORTH IT?

I think what is happening is you are weighing the opportunity costs of what you could use the stubs for instead of getting Chipper. What else would you use them on? You may want to use it on the "big collection" or to get Rivera. Heck Ohtani is probably about the same cost right now (haven't checked). My suggestion is to invest those stubs into cards that are going up due to the "big collection" sell when they announce it and cards are at their highest. Then you will have lots of extra stubs. A few weeks after the big collection is released the cards will come back down and you can buy most of them back and get Rivera and Chipper. That's what I think your best use of the stubs would be.
I actually already have 99 Shoei, 99 Rivera and the 99 Acuna so I don't need the stubs for them, I complete every inning program without an issue so the only one I spent stubs on was 99 Wander in this round because I'm gonna take Eddie at 350.
Honestly I don't think I would use Ortiz Eddie being a switch hitting first basemen means he's gonna be there for a while and I've heard bad things about Soriano but the Yankee fan in me refuses to believe it.
Really my line up would be the same it would be plus chipper with 300kish in stubs leftover or no chipper and 1.1 million in the bank, I'm pretty good at playing the market so stubs aren't super hard to come by but I don't like throwing away 800k for one player unless he is going to go beast mode 100% of the time.

I mean, if you already have the Rivera and Acuna and Ohtani collections done, why wouldn't you try to complete LS?? What else do you need the stubs for if you're not goona use them?

I always save up at least a million for the finest cards so I can pretty much just pick whichever I want to use, not that I can't make them back but is chipper really an 800k card or is AS Castellanos over there almost as good, you get what i'm saying.

I think you got your answer then....

You’re going to get a lot of mixed reviews on Soriano. He is very versatile, fast, and has a good bat.
He’s performed well for me, and probably won’t leave my lineup. And I have loved that Albies card in the event.
