I have been playing the Show for over 15 years, I’ve played it on the PSP/PS4 and PS5 but MLB the show 21 is by far my favorite. However, I still think they need to fix the player animations and the crowd. Would love to better camera angles especially for the “Broadcast” pitching mode. Would love to see more diverse broadcasting commentating as well. There are actually ALOT of improvements and suggestions I could name but I want to hear what everyone else thinks they can add to make it even better….what do y’all think?

the absolute number one is better AI.
from trading away half the team for nothing usually on a whim in franchise and rtts to in game strategy and decision making in every game mode

The main problem with ALL modern sports games is that all attention is directed to Ultimate Team, MyTeam, Diamond Dynasty etc. Because that’s where the recurring spending is. There is no extra money to be made in RttS, Franchise and other offline modes.

I agree that added depth, animations, AI and other aspects could make sports games much better but sadly, only money matters. Even look at a PC series like OOTP and it is now focused on their version of diamond dynasty more than single player improvements.

I think you'll see a lot of these being improved on the new consoles (I hope anyway).
