This is my first year playing DD, but I have been a long time MUT player though. It's funny, you hear the same complaints on both forums, people will always complain. But coming from MUT, DD is so much better than MUT. MUT would never have an entire promo where you can get 30 free players. MUt never made attempts to fix issues plaguing the community such as contact swing HR's. MUT never did anything to improve the gameplay which had a .2 user score on Meta Critic. I know this game isn't perfect but it's light years better than MUT in gameplay and content. Also, I am not saying you guys don't have the right to complain, you purchased the product, so you absolutely have the right. My point is that I things could be much worse if this was another EA game.
Just want to point out that content and gameplay are two different concepts but even with that I agree that gameplay is still far superior to madden.
The sad part is I will be back on madden because the competitive aspect of it engages me far more than the show does despite the show being the superior overall game. I've got Stockholm syndrome lol

The real question I have is do you ever check your own PCI numbers after hitting HRs or do you just criticize your opponents numbers because everyone is getting those same hits, not just your opponent.

How do you even check that stuff, ive tried lookin at the batter analysis on the end game screen but i guess i dont fully understand it. I havent seen the screen about pci 15 etc. When i give up a walk off hr im always curoius what the details are. Example yesterday i gave up 1 hit ,walk off hr in the event an when i went to batter analysis it showed a green dot inside for a hit. The swing looked terrible on my screen, The ball was outside so it makes me more confused at what im trying to look at

I forget exactly which thing you need to change in batter analysis but scroll through and one of them should say "pci label" or something like that and it will show numbers inside the dots -

That's cool.... do you like DD better than MUT? I like the mode better, but like football more than baseball. Thinking about buying a monitor for DD and skipping MUT this year. Sure does stink that Howard is likely gone after playing so good last year... hopefully they can get something good for him.

I am a much bigger Football fan than a baseball fan. But MUT really frustrated me this year, gave them a bit of slide last year with COVID but this year's game wasn't much better. I really do like DD much better than MUT. I like conquests , moments and it just seems like there is always something to do. With MUT you would go through some major periods of boredom. Then playing online you saw the same players, running the same plays all the time. I know there are certainly issues with that in DD too, but doesn't seem as bad as MUT to me.

I'd love to skip madden but TS just doesn't juice me up the way madden does. If coin making becomes a struggle then I will probably hang it up for MUT and just play CFM.
I got a bunch of older dudes like myself who want a chill madden experience so I'm going to try and run a CFM with them and recruit like minded, non-tryhards. DM if you might be interested in that. Same with you @whiplash0013_PSN

MUT has a huge bonus for team building. So basically every content drip you get people crying about the players not fitting their theme team
Also drip is an intentional word. They would take a 30 person promo and give you 3 a week for 10 weeks. If they did drop 30 at one time every card is expensive AF. Or they would drop 30 and 25 would be trash and the 5 good ones would be expensive.

If I play MUT this year, I would definitely be interested in a group of non-spammers. My biggest issue with MUT is the repetition of opponents schemes. Gets old fast only facing 3 plays every other game. I never run cheese and still somehow always manage to have a decent record in seasons.

I run as much cheese as I can in MUT so when I play CFM I want a break from having to play that way. Nothing worse than a CFM where most.have that mindset then you get 1 or 2 who think there's a 2K payout for winning lmao

This is 100% true. Drip is a great word for their content releases.

So your opponent’s pci was a 10 and the feedback showed the swing was barely touching the ball. Ok, I concede that in this case, the ball wasn’t inside the pci.
That said, we all know it’s not that hard to get your pci down to hit that pitch. That stuff happens in this game, especially with cards that have good power. I’m sure you’ve hit your share of these too.
It sucks, but you really need to get that cutter in off the plate.
