This stuff just makes you shake your head and wonder what, exactly, goes on in the code. Is it randomized to the degree nothing really matters? Just when your number comes up you win?
First time through I was eliminated in the first game. Reyes was throwing pitches that would break 2 feet just as they crossed the plate. Still only struck out once or twice. It was, once again, a couple double plays and unrealistic feedback on balls I squared up on that turned into cans-o-corn. Scratch out 1 run to lose that snoozer.
Next game facing Kimbrel. The first pitch I jack a homerun to win 2-1.
That's baseball..right? I'm so tired of hearing that corn ball expression from the fanboyz. That's randomized outcomes that doesn't care about controller input is what that is.

Dont play then.
Are you tired of hearing that corn ball expression to?

No, that was refreshing. How about I've already paid for the game and would like to get some value out of it. Have you heard that one?
In the "Big Boss" against DeGrom, 15-15 with 15 outs. Figured it would be one of those really strange ones where, between Freakish DeGrom and my lying PCI, it would go down to the last couple outs before I scored..if I scored.
Nope, DeGrom walks 2 of my first 3 batters. Recorded one out on a sacrifice and win with 14 outs still sitting in the hopper.
Don't know which is worse..not having to try at all..or trying really hard and getting the nutty animation.
Why can't it be realistic? Have you heard that question before?
