I am not bragging, I would be willing to bet that there are a ton of players that do just a good if not better.

No way. It isnt a level playing field at all once you learn how to hit on Legend, if 2 legend players played on AS i wouldnt be surprised if the game was 30-28.

It generally sucks because of the endless ability to foul off balls. Reduce the success rate on foul balls by 30% and it probably becomes the best difficulty in the game right now with the contact swing nerf that just took place.
That said, for WS and consistent CS caliber players then AS would be torture for us and them. The reality is the game is just too easy on AS, regardless of foul ball success/contact swing nerf, for these players. They can and do hit almost everything in the zone and have too good of an eye to swing at pitches barely outside the zone.
AS is better with the contact swing nerf. I no longer cringe with every pitch I throw in AS. HOF difficulty might play more consistently but it's boring AF having 1 or 2 run games that go into extras. For true WS and HOF goons, then HOF difficulty plays best. For us AS and fringe HOF players it's absolute torture.
For the record, I consider myself an AS caliber player even though I have made HOF the past two seasons with my highest rating being 799. I think I am 23 or so games above 500 as well. My best ever in that regard.

That's simply not true for the majority of the player base. It's definitely true for WS and CS caliber players but definitely not for the player base that's consistently between 600-750.

All star is terrible. The dumbest hits happen on All Star. You can literally have late/early hits all game long where the PCI doesnt touch the ball and its terribly frustrating. My opponents will have 15 strike outs with 8 hits that have no business being hits, and score freaking 5 runs or something dumb. I almost think being off on the PCI sometimes will get better results during certain situations in game, than having good timing and decent PCI placement lol. HOF is definitely better as far as PCI placement and timing mattering alot more which I like. The only thing I dont like, is going back and forth from AS to HOF on ranked and the pitch timing. Once you get used to HOF speed, its not bad, but Id like if they made it with AS pitch speeds/timing window but PCI size and placement mattering like it does on HOF.

I agree. Skill gap is great, but it seems too OD on this game. I’ve seen a handful of people that enjoy HOF, and no one that enjoys legend. Raising the pitch speed AND minimizing the PCI as you go through the difficulties is pretty harsh; playing that one game on HOF, then being knocked back down consistently because the gap from AS to HOF is so insane. Maybe keep the pitch speed the same on all difficulties and minimize the PCI as the difficulty goes up or vice versa? (Minimize vision ring on both ideas though)

People should be able to seek games at HOF or AS before you hit 800.
I'm usually stuck in AS hell and much prefer playing 500 ball on HOF.
AS leads to way too much RNG factoring in.

My biggest issue is the change in difficulty defaulting higher. I think that was a mistake.
I think events should be on all star to make them accessible to the majority of the player base.
Side note, I find hall of Fame to be the best difficulty that compromises being a challenge with not being insane like legend.

Let's be honest. It's the only difficulty that is actually fun. What good is a video game if it isn't fun. All the people who praise HOF and legend need to realize they're the minority and that they would have way more fun if they played on All-star.

IDK this year pitching on all star isn't that bad, pinpoint definitely made it a more even playing ground for guys that can pitch and aren't great at hitting like me.
I have a .59 ERA this year through 22 games I think and all games played on all star except the very first couple to get up there.
Only reason I have the record I do 18-4 because I'm terrible at putting runs on the board lol.

All-star could be decent if they turned down Foul Frequency and Timing. Probably turn down contact a notch or two as well to shrink the PCI a bit.

There should be 3 levels. Veteran pci with rookie pitch speeds . HOFpci with veteran pitch speeds and then Legend.
