Is this the best CAP in the game?

Most of you probably know this but I felt like sharing nonetheless. I used to have a Hawk Archetype (who doesn't?) to play my guy at SS. But Trevor Story has been so good for me, and some of you like Wander Franco a lot, so I grinded a new archetype which might be better than the Hawk:
It's the Duke archetype with a LF primary position. You can max out whatever you prefer, so you can go max contact or max power and sacrifice a little defense or speed. You can also max out speed if that's your thing.
I prefer it this way, 90 speed and 90 stealing with a diamond fielding badge along with 90+ reaction, 99 arm and those hitting numbers? Yeah that'll work. -

At this point in the year i think its time to put the cap on the shelf. My opinion is the cap is a filler until there are real life player 99 cards available. Just my opinion but cap is cheesey.

Agree that cap is cheesy but as long as someone isn’t using them as a pitcher I don’t mind too much

Yeah I never create any pitchers for that reason, but I'm not gonna lie.. it's quite nice to have a guy like this in the lineup and in the field. In previous years the CAP wasn't as good as it is now, so I used it early on and then eventually dropped him from the team when the good cards came out. But this is different, I doubt there will be a better 99 real life player with all those stats and switch hitting and a swing of your choice.

I hear ya. I will most likely bench the cap once I have a full team of favorite players that are end game cards. Until then I’m not going to put myself at a severe competitive disadvantage. I already feel like I am at a severe disadvantage by not using mine as a reliever as it is

These caps are better than any player in history of course. Its just a personal choice. So many legends and flashbacks for diversity.

With those attributes my only complaint is LF primary but that can be changed I assume the same way people get cap catchers? I will always love my crime dog Scooby Doo for hitting the GW GS to put me in WS but since I got chipper today I might have to grind this out and give it a chance

Yeah if you play RS there is a workaround where you can basically play your guy anywhere you want, also behind the dish.

Make sure you grind out your base stats to 50 in RTTS. That's an important part of it too.
