And how will they be different from all the cry baby complaint threads we saw about contact hitting before change?
I almost see the complainers after the patch having a more valid excuse. They were allowed to develop their game using contact hitting and more lenient pinpoint pitching. Now they are getting their playstyle nerfed.
No difference to me either way as I use neither contact swings or pinpoint pitching.

The changes are exactly what I wanted. Pinpoint needs to be more difficult. Contact swings need a nerf. R2 interrupting PPP is gone.

I wonder if balanced hitters will still be able to whack with contact swing. It reads that itll only affect power guys.

It doesn’t sound like contact swing will be unusable, you just won’t hit tanks from using it as often. People who implemented it into their strategy should still be able to use it effectively, just less extra base hits from it (how it should be)

Lol at strategy. People use it to make their pci enormous. Its abused. Hope its fixed.

No more Friendly Quit glitch.
No more tipping pitches from Darren O'Day.
No more meta Contact Swing.
But best of all is when they state that R2 was implemented to keep people from quick pitching!
Yes, it will be adjusted. But to those who say quick pitching isn't possible; there's your proof!

My thoughts exactly. Or the "balanced guys with high power" might become valuable since this seemingly doesnt apply to them.
