Check swings

What happend!! At the beginning of the year almost every check swing was a strike now it seems most of them aren't called. I've noticed alot when I play someone who uses only contact swings they get a ton of check swings called balls. Why would you further reward the people cheering the game.
It's hard enough striking people out on allstar with them being able to foul balls off in the dirt. Is anyone else noticing alot more successful check swings?

I play offline and have noticed I get more successful check swings than earlier in the year, just for the record. I'm sure you mean online for your experience with them lately.

I'm not going to really complain about check swings this year, as I see it at least being a marked improvement to last year's game. Check swinging in MLB20 was just gawd awful.
I wouldn't necessarily change anything about check swinging this year except for maybe having it adhere to the card's attributes a bit more. In other words, allowing a bit more leniency on those with high Discipline, Vision, Clutch attributes or whatever category would effect a player's check swinging attribute.

I don't know if they changed anything recently. I still feel like they overcompensated with their change this year. This is a case where the online players complaints definitely hurt the offline guys. I can't seem to check swing in moments or showdowns making them harder than they would have been prior to the check swing change.
