I'm quitting after 10+ years

MLB the Show 15 and 16 were amazing (despite some flaws). 17 and 18 had too much RNG, but awesome content. In 19 and 20, the game play is just terrible. A pile of steaming [censored] with a zillion shiny cards that don't matter. This was my favorite game ever. I hate it now.

Alright, see ya next week

18 was the worst of The Show, and that goes without contest. 19 would ranked behind that, so far I like 20. But I would really like to see a pitching change (Hah!) where there is more control and less rng. Pitching doesn't have to be 100% spot on pinpoint accuracy everytime, but it should at LEAST be within a few inches of where you located. Not just hung in the center.

Agree with this 100% 18 was awful. 19 wasn’t much better, but content was good. This one plays well and has great content. Like it...even if I’ll never have the GOAT

SDS knows exactly what they’ve done, every year they tune the gameplay to help players win, if they win...they keep playing. Errors, game hanging pitches, game nerfing hits...it’s all by design to retain players. These fanboys know it’s true that’s why they don’t have anything worthwhile to say to dispute it other than weak insults. SDS is catering to the “I’m going to quit playing if it’s too hard” players.
Directional hitters are also cancer to this game, they’re only chance is if the game serves them pitches to hit....hence why we have this garbage pitching this year.

You can thank the directional hitters for what’s going on right now. Seriously, it’s they’re only chance and SDS knows it, hence why we have more hanging pitches this year. Gotta keep them playing!

Good Bye

17 was my favorite. 18 was truly bad. 19 was ok, 20 was fun before the last patch.
-
I really haven’t noticed any difference, but I’m prolly not that good.

This is pretty much spot on, unfortunately.

Yeah, gotta say that I thought NBA 2K was the worst with the EQ but I'm getting pretty suspicious about The Show now too. Too many HRs given up on late contact while my Giambi and Mantle flame out at the warning track on Good/Squared Up.
Not sure I'm going to go all-in next year Stubs wise again. Not if it's like this.
-
No, 2k and MUT are by far the worst and it's not close
-
I'd quit if I could, but you know, the whole "momma didn't raise no quitter" thing. Plus, apparently I like pain.

Yeah, this ain’t the only game going down that road. It’s pretty obvious to see it happening in this game though.
