Auction House Is Kind Of A Scam IMO

Do you guys ever get angry that if you pull a card out of a pack your only offered a low quick sell value or a “sell now” value? Sometimes when I “sell now” it’s higher by a small amount or can be a lot higher if it’s a good card.
But then when I want to go buy that card off the auction block I have to pay more? Sometimes it’s like 1,000 stubs more or it can be even 10-20,000 stubs more if it’s a high rated card.
Not sure how the PlayStation players have tolerated this for years? I just don’t think it’s very fair.

Don’t sell now bro. Just go to your inventory and sell it for higher
-
What? Just put in order and wait and get it for that lower price rather than just buying outright..... And when you are selling go and put it up instead of selling now. It's not complicated
-
It’s because you don’t understand the system; never sell now. Go in auction and put your card to sell; sell now is the lowest current bid, 99% of the time it’s well below market value because people don’t care/get fooled.

Because we know that doing work will always pay more than being lazy?
-
Now I know who is always filling my lowball offers for cards.

Do you really not understand the market??? The quick sell option is a way to control inventory. When you quick sell that card is no longer available. It gone, off the market. It’s a way to control inflation and keep a card from over saturating the market. The sell now option is just selling your card to the highest bidder. It’s really simple. Not a hard concept to get.

My friend KT buys a lot of packs on his credit card. He is a new x box player like myself. He told me I just “sell now” or “quick sell” all the cards to get stubs? He wants to get a trout pretty bad but it’s taking forever cause every pack he buys he only gets like 1,000 stubs tops out of if he’s lucky. They aren’t cheap also.

I feel trolled right now.

You’re friend is tossing lots of stubs in the trash by quick selling or selling now. The only people who use those option are those who don’t want to waste time maximizing their return or those who don’t care about taking the loss because they already have millions of stubs. Truthfully I do this when I have so many stubs I don’t know what to do with. Unless you fall into one of these categories you should never be using those options when you rip a pack. You will make far more by listing the card on the market.

We PS guys thank you for your generosity

There are certain items that sell for or with tax lower what you would make if you post it on market unless you post to sell it for a higher amount and have the wait for a long time to sell. I will QS Minor league Stadiums, Most of the ICON. I do that from the my inventory I go check just to make sure that is what is selling at.

Never Never Never sale now!!

Clearly Playstation players are a lot smarter than the rest. Do you ever get angry at yourself for only buying or selling now?

ALWAYS BUY NOW! ALWAYS SELL NOW!!! Get your stubs as fast as possible, and get your cards as fast as possible. Time is Money!
-
I guess I can’t speak for PS players, you guys must have more tools at your disposal? It’s the only options we have on x box.

Not to pile on but the sell now feature in packs is for people that are lazy or for low tier cards like commons that are basically worthless anyways
-
You know there are options for buy and sell orders as well right? But now and sell now are for chumps
-
Just because the Sell Now price looks a bit higher does not mean that is what you get for the sale. It is still subject to the 10% tax. So if you see a sell now at 1,110 and quick sell of 1,000. this is what happens: The quick sell will give you the full 1K but the sell now will only give you 999. Those would be the type you quick sell.
