I have the stubs because he's cheap rn. But my lineup is already really good, unlike allt of others I hit well Soriano.
1b. 99 Ortiz
2b. 99 Soriano
3b. 99 chipper
Ss. 99 Franco
Lf. 99 the Duke cap
Cf. 99 trout
Rf. 98 p5 Buxton
C. 98 SantanaI want Jackie but I don't know where I would put him? What would yall do? I could save the stubs and wait for more 99s to be released. Or I could buy Vida and Matthewson

He is 100 times better than Soriano, I do pretty well with Soriano

Get Jackie for sure, play him at 2B
move Soriano to CF, Trout RF
essentially replacing Buxton at this point or CAP -

Yes, he's amazing this year imo and should push soriano to your bench to pinch hit or sub in for defense late

Jackie is pretty solid. I benched Buxton for Finley in CF and then benched Finley for Dominguez. I didnt have a ton of success with Buxton so I had no issues booting him from the lineup.
Personally feel like CAP is wasted in the OF but everyone has their preferences. I'm working on getting Hawk CAP up to Diamond so I can put him at SS (currently got CAP at 3rd with Yo Adrian) and Chipper at SS. Also need a new catcher. Considering also moving CAP there. Not sure if Santana is the answer...I struggled with him in BR so not overly itching to spend stubs on him for main squad.

I use Bench at C he is very hard to steal off of. I have thrown a lot of guys out trying to steal.
Eh not wild about Bench either but I'll recheck his attributes. Throwing guys out isn't an issue or something I really consider since its really dependent on if I get f'd by the delayed meter pop up or not. If it pops, I'm usually fine....if it doesn't its irrelevant.

I have a few caps. I switch between the Duke in left field, the hawk, the crime dog at 3rd, and I'm currently working on the spoke in cf and rawhide at 2nd. I struggle tight Santana too, I wish be wasn't locked in. I may just use my hawk at catcher and keep everyone in my lineup

I do not have that delay issue. I hope they do make his 99 card this year. You might want to get that CAP at C. I do not use a CAP. I do like Carter as well but not the card he currently has, He should get a 99 as well.

Yeah my issue is finding a SS I like and a C I like. CAP works for either right now. Just need to experiment a bit I guess.

I've been working on a bunch of different CAPs including Ps. Never going to consider using my CAP as a P (it annoys me and seems cheesy although I wouldnt resort to some funky side arm delivery with 100mph cheese). But I do it for the XP/stubs along the way and I can collect a bunch of free perks for exchange/collection/quick sell.
