I played 2 more games today both 1-0 losses where every single hit was 50% of less in our PCIs. There is no way legend difficulty was this bad a few days ago. I was able to at least see the ball and square up a few knocks but it really feels impossible to get a hit at this point. Was there some ghost update to the difficulty because it is so painful to play I’m contemplating just not playing anymore because I already completed all the collections and I can’t even find joy in using the cards I spent time to get. I was putting up decent runs against solid players and now I legit can’t even see the ball coming to the plate it’s atrocious

The game just plays so differently from one game to the next, regardless of difficulty. You could play a game on legend and have a good sense for the timing windows, and then struggle horribly to get good timing the very next game on All-Star. It makes playing this game at a high level consistently almost impossible, because muscle memory doesn't mean a thing when the timing windows are so random.

Honestly haven’t thought of that. Always just thought it was me being inconsistent

It feels the same for me too. One game can read and react, next game I’m late on fastballs even when I sell out

So you've never had a game where one game you have your timing down perfectly and the very next game you're either in front of everything or you struggle to to catch up to the hard stuff? That's not you being inconsistent, that's the messed up timing windows caused by peer to peer connection and poor networking coding.

I have those all the time but just chalk it up to me sucking as the highest I can get to so farcthis year is 722 in RS.

Well if it happens from one day to the next, then I would think it's on me as well. Some days you see the ball really well and other days you don't. But you can't tell me that one game you're cracked and the next game you suck, just because you can't get the timing down, when you face the exact same pitcher twice in a row on the same difficulty. So I'm not talking about PCI placement but purely the timing windows.
