I used a monitor for months but sold it when I sold my PC. I've been using a LG CX for a while in the living room but want to go back to using a monitor for this game and DBD specifically. Don't get me wrong the lg CX is a great tv I just want to sit closer and I'm not gonna use a chair in the middle of my living room.

Issue I'm having tho is finding good info for 4k monitors. Rtings tends to do higher end stuff and I'm not gonna splurge on a 4k monitor. 120/144hz at 4k I could care less about. The PS5 runs siege at 120hz and 1080p and that game is 6 years old, I have no faith in 4k 120fps gaming on new PS5 games in the future.

I'm fine at 4k 60hz/60fps gaming on the PS5 as I really only play the show and DBD on it. If I can score a 32 inch I'd probably leave it in the (game) room and play everything on it

I'm cool with spending $400 on a monitor. There's a ton of options but not a ton of reviews. My biggest thing is input lag and actual response time. I'd prefer an ips screen, tn monitors look like [censored], I've been down that road and won't go back. VA monitors suck playing anything dark as you get black smearing on those in darker images (DBD is bad)

Anyone care to chime in and have an adult conversation about this? I'm at work so I've got all night
