I hate moments

I finish the moment in one attempt and I feel ‘at least that’s done.’
I finish the moment after 100 attempts and I feel ‘at least that’s done.’
I never feel like ‘wow, that was fun’ or like I accomplished something.
I only feel anger that I had to complete a moment(s) so I can get a card.
Playing the game is fun. Trying to replicate something sucks.
Yes, I know, I don’t have to play them, but they are a huge part of DD and it sucks. -

I don’t enjoy them, but I loathe moments where you have to stack XBH over multiple games given how random it is.
The other two things I hate are the insane CPU fielding and the fact that CPU pitchers tend to throw everything out of the zone in these moments.

I feel the same way. Zero enjoyment. They feel like a tedious chore. I would rather do laundry.

They are the epitome of a chore. It's just busy work. It's like killing rats and delivering packages in an rpg.

Yeah, getting walked or hit by a pitch is awesome. Also, perfect outs, where the swing is PERFECT and the ball goes into the glove of a fielder whose back is against the outfield wall. Regular game, sucks, but you can recover, moments its start all over.

They just need other options to complete things.
Give us the option to “play how we want” like they advertise. I should be able to do a player program without doing moments. Give a variable option to get stats offline and no one can really complain.
Moments rub me the wrong way because they force them onto us and they don’t even play true to regular gameplay.

I much preferred those, especially in 17 where you were accumulating stats toward career rewards the whole time.
The problem with moments are 1) they aren't baseball, at least the old missions were done while playing baseball, and 2) moments are all or nothing, which makes them all the more frustrating.

Also zero opportunity to parallel (which I really enjoy) and we can’t even use our own team that this mode is based around.
I get some moments need a specific player to replicate a moment but how nice would it be to actually parallel that player while trying a moment over and over again. Still isn’t great but at least you’re making progress otherwise

I enjoy them until you need 8 total bases in one game with a hitter that has no ability to even hit a double.

Yup, not fun at all, just time filler that needs to be gotten out the way. I also don't think I've ever read the blurb as to why I'm even doing it, as I don't care. All I read is "hit a homer", as that's what I need to do.

They are the bane of my existence and i hate them with every fiber of my being. There's Multi-game moments, moments where you have a runner on first who refuses to go to third on a gapper that should easily be the one XBH I need, there's having to hit a HR with a LH batter with like 60 power off a LH pitcher when his power off RH pitcher is like 85-90 and the pitcher is basically Nook LaLoosh before he started wearing garters and can't hit the zone for $hit...and the best is watching a pitcher throw to first 7 times to pick off the slow runner that refuses to go past second.
I would rather be doomed to play for Fortnite for hours on end than have to do another moment, but I digress and I do them bc you have to as they are a part of DD.

correct, your forced to play the content in order to get the rewards.

correct, your forced to play the content in order to get the rewards.
so yeah everyone does the moments....Topps Now, POTM, Showdowns (glorified moments), Team Affinity (although those are easy to skip), Player Programs, Daily Moments.
Take those out and what content do we really have?

I almost posted this last night after my 75th attempt of a particular moment. I quit out after failing again and got 1,978 xp. I was doing that for 45min. Like wow. Basically no xp compared to other modes, stats don’t track, no progress toward anything. I wouldn’t mind the moments as much if the stats counted and the xp was turned up. Because it’s definitely not enjoyable
