Ok I give up I've tried everything. What's the secret to have the runner break for second before the ball is in the catcher's glove? Or is this just another thing SDS left completely broken?

Not sure, I have Lou Brock and sometimes he stands like he's got cement shoes on and the balls about halfway home then he takes off. Why have 99 BR aggression if that's gonna happen.

Dunno...I can throw a runner out, but not as often as I would like. There does seem to be a reaction lag from when the ball hits the glove to when the catcher actually throws it. Runner basically already being at second base when the throw is released. It's all about latency lag. It's garbage for guys most of the time because the servers are full of too much doo doo data and people. It also makes the pitch appear 10 x faster on All Star in BR. It is what it is.

What’s kinda funny is I played a guy tonight and stole 3 bases and was throwing out once. He then messaged me after the game and said I was using and steal glitch. Didn’t know there was such a thing. Lol

Monitor the situation in the game currently. I’ll get beat on 88 speed, but if Henderson or 5th parallel Trea Turner steal their goose is cooked. No rhyme or reason.

Press L1 as soon as the pitcher lifts his foot

I hold L2 and let go as soon as the pitcher moves to pitch. Most of the time you get a pretty decnt jump

I'm 0 for 7 with Ricky Henderson since the last patch. All conquest games on All Star. The best catcher in the 7 attempts had a 72 arm rating. The worst was Narvaez from the Brewers with 62 arm! Every attempt played out identical. Ricky gets a perfect jump then appears to be running in mud for four steps before taking off. Before the patch the only time I had been thrown out with Ricky by the cpu was on pitchouts.

BR Agg is for vs cpu. No effect online.

It's all rng. When the runner gets a slow jump even tho you released L2 right when the pitcher started their windup it because the game is forcing you to get thrown out. When you get a good smooth jump the game is letting you steal the bag.
There is alot of rng online. It sucks

I love it when i press triangle and then the catcher throws to 3rd. thats my favourite.

I’ve watched this and it’s insane how often a guy will just stand up when you’ve activated the steal. Stands up out of his crouch for a good 2 seconds before he’ll even start to run.

That was mentioned in previous versions. Its for when you don't control the runner, its when cpu does.
