I have zero problem with zone hitters.
If you have the hand/eye coordination to excel at it, I salute you.
One little thing that irks me is the zone hitters ability to hit pitches WAY off the plate very fair and very far.
    Again, no complaint.
But allow timing hitters similar results.
I use timing because the reticle messes with my "plate vision". I have a great eye otherwise.
    My problem, I know.

But I should be able to hit pitches just off the plate. That's all I want.
I don't need to be able to pull a 3-run homer on a sinker down and away with Juan Pierre. Just give directional hitters a level playing field at the higher levels in H2H.
In exchange, make the timing element more critical.
I would gladly give zone more timing leniancy if I could get two inches off the plate.

    Play well...

I don't mean this in a mean or condescending manner, but if you want to play and have success in the higher levels in H2H, you're gonna have to learn how to use zone hitting. I don't have an issue with people who use directional hitting, but it's pretty common knowledge that it requires not even half the skill to play compared to zone hitting. So asking for a buff for something like this doesn't really sit well with me and I'm fairly certain most people would agree.

Directional is easier, there is no debate about that, so making it "level" with zone is not being realistic to the difference between the two.

The timing thing suggestion doesn't make up for it at all

One suggestion: use “fade all” in the pci settings and you can use zone w/o PCI interference. That said, directional should be less effective than zone. I shouldn’t just be able to indicate “pull the ball” and use timing as effectively as if I actually track the pitch.

I use fade, works great for me and lessens the distraction

Learn zone and turn pci off. That way you control the pci but it doesn't show on screen. I turned mine off over a year ago and love it.

    Great advice, fellas!
I didn't think about pci fade.
    Gonna pretend directional doesn't exist.
    Thanks!!!
