Noob question about collections

I’ve been a long time madden ultimate team player where collections are use the player one time and get another to repeat. Can I collect a player in multiple sets? For example I used my may rewards and topps now players in collections but see some are needed for the Rivera tokens (I think I saw this correctly). Sorry first time player.

Yes, A "Collected" Card for one Set can be collected for another. It's actually better to do collections this way. Go through and see which ones say "No Sell" in the corner. Lock those in so any that are able to be sold still can if you need to. Now Exchanges are a different story. Once you Exchange a card, it's gone from your inventory.

As previously stated, anytime you do a collection, lock in every card that says no sell first. Then you can see how many more cards you need to complete the collection and choose what else to lock in based on value. Lock in the cheapest cards first allowing some flexibility to sell the expensive cards later if needed.

Thanks for the advice.
I was debating this with the may rewards I ultimately completed the collection set for semien (since i believe you are 2 points off). Probably should’ve just sold all of the pieces to help with the big live collections. But now that I know how the collections work I can make some better choices -

Luckily, there's not much reason to do exchanges for anything this year. Speed up getting Team Affinity done faster and a way to bypass either a couple moments or Online Stat Requirements for Player Programs. And even those aren't to expensive. 15000 points i believe which can be knocked out with a couple Spare Gold, silver and bronzes.

But now that I know how the collections work I can make some better choicesNext time your doing the POTM...Do whatever moments/missions etc. to get to the final Card before the lightening. That's been at 80 points the last two months. Then complete your collection. It has to be done no matter what. This way you're not wasting time doing other moments and missions that you can skip once you get your 15 points for the collection.
