Question about Juan Marichal

At what point in his career were colors invented? I'm doing the moments and it seems like they were before the invention of colors

It's odd. There are colors on his card, despite them not existing yet. Was that a post color edit of this cards?

google search tells me color TV was invented 10 years before the year on this card lol

I noticed that with Buster Posey’s card. Very interesting technology they had back then to show the color of diamonds but nothing else.

I know that his moments are agonizing as hell.

Edit: I'm now on my 5th try on the very first moment on rookie. The very first try I got all the way to the last out and they get a hit. Now they are getting hits left and right on me.
