Wish there was a game mode for Theme Teams

Like the title says, I wish there was a mode devoted to players only using specific theme teams. Instead of guys using only the best players available, they would have to only use players who ever played for their favorite team. I've played with only current/all-time/one-time Phillies for as long as i've played DD and it would be a lot more fun to face other teams who have a roster theme like mine. Instead of say facing a "New York Yankees" team with David Ortiz for example. Ideally my wish is that this could be a lifetime event, but with 9 innings instead of 3, and on HOF. SDS would also have to incorporate a "teams played for history" for each card in the game so they can be used for more than just the team the card is for. I think this would be really cool.

It’s actually more fun for me going up against god squads with a theme team than if everyone was doing it. Beating an all Diamond team with a silver starting pitcher feels better than making WS.

I usually rock a Seattle theme team every year to change things up now and then. The mode for this is called Ranked Seasons. Yeah, you’ll get spanked by a god squad now and then, but so what?

I really wish they put some creativity into events. All live series couldn’t have taken much longer than 10-12 seconds to come up with.
