Anyway to really turn cross play off?

Servers have been fair until this weekend. Total garbage this week. Sorry to be so blunt. I prefer to play only those on my console. Thanks

Yes it’s in settings somewhere, maybe under mode specific? I was able to do it a few weeks ago and haven’t looked back. Let someone else beta test their cross play connections

Settings --> Online safety & family --> Privacy & online safety --> Xbox privacy --> View details & customize --> Communication & multiplayer --> From here you can navigate your multiplayer / cross player options on your console.... now this walkthrough is for Xbox, no clue how the setup on Playstation is.

Just go up to your profile (My Player), scroll to settings and just click where it say crossplay and it will turn off

I turn it off and I’m still playing people on the Xbox. Seems like lag at its worst. Only problem I have. I’ve double checked. Setting is set to off. I still play them. I can’t be the only one seeing this. Thanks for the posts

Using the "turn cross play off" option from in game on MLB the Show 21 does NOT work. You must go into your consoles settings and change it there. That's why I gave you the long walkthrough, trust me it works. I only play Xbox players if I have it off.
