Ps5 playing Xbox players....

Every time in ranked I play a person on Xbox it’s either a freeze off or disconnect. Only in ranked. Anyone else have this happen? It’s ridiculous. I’m thinking about turning off cross play.

Xbox here, turned off crossplay and had insanely better connections thus far. I've only played a handful of games so could be small sample size, but none of the weird [censored] seems to happen.

I have a PS5 and do not notice this at all. Any freeze offs ibhad have been in battle Royale but I can count them on one hand

I am an Xbox player this year, and I have noticed that when I do play against PS players I always feel like they have an advantage. I very rarely get good pci placement, and seems like they get all the breaks.
Im.not a bad player either, I think my record is 40 and 15 or something

Only had one freeze off and not sure about disconnects but have routine lag vs xbox opponents. Also experience lag vs PS opponents but less frequently.
PS5 here. Wired connection. Average 800 down/30 up to my console and have one of the best gaming routers that you can buy. Really wish gaming companies would enlist ping based match making.

Off the top of my head, you go to settings, privacy, online privacy and there should be an option for cross platform security.

This is correct - and it is a hard find! It's on the platform rather than in-game. And worth it IMO.

I'm on XBOX. 9/10 of my games are against PS4/PS5. Never any issues.
