what is the quickest way

What's your personal fave methods to quickly get through a game you're way up on. In other words, I'm playing a Conquest game and am up by 4 runs in the first. Just want to quickly get out of the quicksand and finish the match. Sometimes I try sacrifice bunting, but actually get on base. I've tried turning that sacrifice bunt into a double and get thrown out trying to advance, but the AI just leaves me on first and doesn't register the attempt to turn it into a double. Probably a bug, I dunno. The one I have most success with is just get a hit as quick as possible and start advancing from that base until picked off. Anyone have a tried and true way?

Bunt. If you get on advance to second or hold L2 and release it before the next pitch and he will take off to get out. I’d prefer to parallel tho

Player parallels have cut back on me bunting through games I’ll finish a conquest game 15-0 and get mad it took me 30 minutes lol

I just swing away and when I get hits keep running the bases until I get out. I used to do it so I wouldn’t ruin my averages before they had Online/Offline splits but it’s still a quick way to finish and and achieve stats/PXP at the same time.

Swing away, but that leads to a lot of fouls and just waiting around. Sometimes homeruns you swing at way outside with a contact swing. Probably the best bet is just save that Pizz break for when you come up to bat. Except I've come back from the break and witnessed 2 players on base from being walked. Just now I sacrificed twice in a row for basehits. Ya can't win..ha. Guess that's why they call it grinding.

Contact swing on everything. If it’s a hit with less than two outs, leave him on first, and hit into a double play.

Generally I play Conquest on HOF just to keep myself interested, but for whatever reason I keep getting my territories attacked and I just simulate to get it over with. That didn't typically used to happen. So, to speed things along I've played a couple of these on Rookie after my territory was ripped off. That's when you see all the BoB's and sacrifices for hits. HOF they'll usually K you when you're taking that bathroom break. **By territory I mean Stronghold. Gotta get that terminology correct. **

I’ve come to realize playing on rookie is making me severely worse when I go back online. As for your stronghold just make sure you keep 5 guys there’s after you first couple of turn and nobody usually attacks it. If you’re just going for prospects I don’t think it matters if they take theirs back. You just have to keep a line connected to a stronghold so you can reinforce.
