On top of all you just said...most of us were playing on All Star difficulty in RS so it was OBVIOUS hitting was a bit easier...now its back to boring games where all it takes is one hr or random late/early hits!
And again, i still cant locate pitches even tho it keep saying PERFECT lol and my diamond outfielders at times look drunk in the field...but yeah lets touch hitting smh TWO DAYS in -

Exactly! They trying to make a VIDEO GAME simulate real baseball numbers. Completely removing user input in order to make that happen.

I can’t do this bullsht anymore man. This is absurd to change hitting this drastically this early in the season. I can’t play online while hitting is in this state. I just played a game with good/weak and good/okay timing on all swings I had good PCI placement. The one good/squared up was a weak liner to the center fielder. They fcked exit velocities too.

The new hitting isn't awful... but changing 2 days in shows how poor the testing was. Also the entire community learned the original timing window and now has to struggle through a readjustment phase.
The fielding is atrocious. I've now had 3 ranked games significantly altered because the game just doesn't lock on the ball. Most recently was an infield pop up that landed on Donaldson's back.
This is just not a complete product. Bottom line. Such a shame.

The pitching is terrible.
There was a time when you needed good hand eye coordination and good PCI placement to play this game.
Unfortunately we're now stuck with "pitch and pray" and roll of the dice hittingg outcomes. God forbid somebody gets stomped and stops playing.
That’s why they do this garbage, to keep players playing. These errors and game forced hanging pitches are not a coincidence, it’s all by design to keep players “active”.

I am glad I am not the only one who year after year after year spends hundreds of dollars on a game that is usually broken within 2 weeks of release.....I JUST DONT GET IT!!! This is such a bait and switch move by SDS....the game was AMMMMMAAAAZING 3 days ago now it is garbage......

It boggles my mind how they changed the hitting before most people have even reached hof diffulty. Of course the ball is going to get smacked around on all star just like last year before they patched it and killed exit velocity

The results I am seeing today are disgusting.
The fact I have quit probably 5 games since yesterday says it all. Check the game logs. Not one single quit in roughly 60 online games. Now I can't even stomach a 3 inning game it plays so gross.

Dog they changed hitting before fixing the glitched stats on cards consumers paid real cash for.
Why are the games between me and my opponent based on average MLB statistics? This stuff is beyond ridiculous.
We're all playing a simulation and our input doesn't matter
