I just have to say something that most people in here are probably thinking. After spending the last half hour doing this Johnny Bench TA moment (6 total bases) and drawing multiple walks in each attempt, can you PLEASE relay this message to the devs....
FIX THE AI PITCHING.
Seriously...i get it. They're trying to make us chase everything. We're supposed to pass on the junk and wait for our pitch, i understand this....but what happens when that pitch NEVER comes in a moment with a limited number of ABs? I'm drawing walks left and right here or being forced to swing at 3-0 garbage to keep an AB alive and its getting stupid now.
In all my years watching baseball, i've never seen so many 3-0 counts in one game. I've also never seen guys like Scherzer, Cliff Lee or Verlander throw the ball into another zip code because they're afraid someone might get a hit.
For a game thats supposed to be the most realistic sports sim on the market, you're forgetting about the realism in some aspects. Every AB is off-speed in the dirt, slider at the batters feet, fastball 10 feet above the plate....and every so often, something hittable.
"Painting the corners" is a real thing in baseball.
