Last season Lance Lynn posted the following line in 2019 and 2020:
2019: 3.67 ERA, 246 K's, 1.219 WHIP, giving up 8.4 H/9, 0.9 HR/9, 2.5 BB/9 and a 3.13 FIP, 10.6 K's/9
2020: 3.32 ERA, 89 K's, 1.060 WHIP, 6.9 H/9, 1.4 HR/9, 2.7 BB/9 and a 4.19 FIP, 9.5K's /9 - finishing the year as a diamond if i remember correctly
2021: 1.51 ERA, 50K's, 0.965 WHIP, 5.9 H/9, 0.8 HR/9, 2.8 BB/9, and a 3.12 FIP 9.4 K's/9
So how is a guy who is pitching better in almost every single stat category as last year (when he was a diamond) not a diamond
It actually makes less then no sense to me - i will also say that I am not a White Sox fan so not a homer bias here just ridiculous to me

Did you forget to finish this sentence, "So how is a guy who is pitching better in almost every single stat category as last year (when he was a diamond)?"
-
Because last year was weird.

I mean you’re not wrong... but they have been actually bumping most people who deserve it (Muncy, Means, Vlad, etc) honestly I think a couple of teams got kind of overlooked this update (Mariners, Chi-Sox)
