Objectively, there are now a fair amount of good goods for outs, and a surprising amount of hits on “late” or “out in front” “jammed” or whatever. In other words, I’m observing a propensity of bloop hits.

Hitting is definitely more frustrating and random now. I get fooled every year. Even waited to buy, then the old switch-er-ooo.

They seriously do fool us every year. We goo goo and ga ga over the content and then the first week hitting rules then they revert back to trash. They need to work on pitching and leave hitting alone.

In other words, you are observing The Show '19. Good for you! Why this games developers have an uncanny thirst to ruin their own game, year after year, is beyond my comprehension. They take the beta data. They make game play. People actually like the hitting engine. We say pitching is not right. What do they do? They break the hitting. So, yea, The Show '19. That is what you are observing IF that considering pitching was better on it.

Well, to some extent, yeah, but believe it or not, I could pitch my way out of jams using pulse in 19. That is not the case this year, so I am struggling to locate with analog.
It’s a good thing, but it’s disheartening when you make a good pitch and it drops in shallow OF.
Also, facing Verlander in regular season and some of the PCI are tinier than HOF, so there’s that.
