Why I hate this game

SDS

Get out to a 3-0 lead against a world series level player.

Then I proceed to get 6 outs on balls in play with PCI of 13 or higher.

Shut him out until the 6th inning and then he gets a 7 PCI single with Jackie Robinson. Then a 405 foot MOONSHOT with a 12 PCI with Chipper.

still up by one. Ok we can do this !

Next inning he gets on with Soriano and proceeds to hit a 394 MOONSHOT with an 11 PCI with Posada.

Losing the game 4-3 off of 12 and 11 PCI homeruns while playing on hall of fame difficulty is absolute garbage.

Hitting is so broken. At least they made a step in the right direction this year with pin-point pitching. Although when you hit your spot and they make horrible contact for 400 footers is that really even better ?

SDS

oh god...

SDS

I see these posts often and I feel like my enjoyment of the game is actually enhanced by the fact the fact that I never go look at the detailed PCI information

SDS

Sorry you had a bad experience. I subscribe to the theory that it all balances out in the end. I certainly don't think it's broken.

SDS

11 and 12 out of 15 is considered horrible contact?

Well I'd say when it is playing on hall of fame difficulty and they were both 400 foot bombs....

Ok, so not Horrible. But it shouldn't be no doubters. I would say they shouldn't have even left the park. Just discouraging when we were both dealing with our pitchers and then all of a sudden he gets a 7 PCI hit followed by that stuff.

Also... This was not at Shippet or any other juiced ball park. Capitol field.

While that’s really annoying, let’s be real we’ve all hit bad home runs

No doubt. I just hadn't noticed really that many while playing on hall of fame. All-star hell.... EVERY GAME

SDS

I'm new to this game, but also noticed the pitch-zone (does that mean PCI?) does not always match my swing placement. Is it supposed to? I also play on HOF.
