He’ll never be a small boy but I think they said he lost 30 pounds in the offseason and has improved his work ethic immensely

He is. went from 270-280 down to 230 or so. turning fat into a lot of extra muscle

Still not as bad as the Reds' bullpen though or as bad as Luis Castillo.
On another note, I'm wondering if the Jays or ChiSox will make a play for Castellanos soon. Reds will probably trade him rather than waiting for him to opt out at the end of this season.

Jays already have too many outfielders. They will go hard after a starter and a reliever. Offense is fine. Especially with Springer back eventually

True hadn’t thought of that. Nice to have guys who can play multiple positions. Makes it easier on management too when it comes time for trades or free agents
