All-star DD is the worst

Rollins hit 231 career home runs. I bet one or two of those was on a pitch down and in.

Sounds like you just played a goon or you need to work on pitching. Whether it’s being predictable or leaving too many fat pitches. I don’t care what difficulty it is, you shouldn’t be allowing 20 runs unless you’re using bronze/commons
People routinely put up 6-8 in BR. That's 3 less innings with not nearly as stacked a lineup. That's just the way All-star is if you have players who can hit on HOF or Legend.

BR is often with pitchers who are silver/bronze. And the silver and bronze batters people have are very viable compared to mediocre pitching. I’d take a full silver batting lineup over a full silver rotation/pen any day of the week. All I know is I’ve never allowed 20 runs on any difficulty. I’ve played guys who hit everything even close to the zone and still managed to not allow 20 freaking runs. Maybe people should take some accountability when they lose instead of making threads blaming the game.
It’s actually 6 less innings by the way.

It was supposed to say 3 or less lol, still. People put up 6 spots all the time, it the PCI size on all star. Players who can hit half way decent on HOF that got demoted back to all-star are going to CRUSH the ball on all star plain and simple.

I’ve played the game man haha. Been right on that fringe of HOF and AS before... never allowed 20.

I cant play on a level above AS with consistent success so I prefer it to stay

If BR is all star then I agree

Don’t care.

Depending on the pitch and location in general you always wanna be just early on the fast ball and sit back in the off speed. When you perfect/perfect a off speed pitch it’s almost always a extra base hit unless it’s super low in the zone. Hitting p/p center is just hitting to center fields, slightly early or late hits the gaps. Anything early on outside pitches is a pull which is not what you want. Anything inside of you late ur dead.

Ive been sitting basically 500-600s this year so far. Most games that have gone the full 9 have been normal/low scoring. Anytime there is anything that looks like an offensive outburst, the other guy seems to quit (I try to play mine to completion or make you earn that mercy for the most part).
My biggest complaint with allstar is with how easy it is to foul tip a pitch. The number of times I got my opponent so off balance and swinging "Very early" and they get a piece of the ball a foot or more off the plate is stupidly high. This is almost always followed by a very late bloop hit or something (this part would annoy me a lot less if it wasn't for the undeserved AB extensions).
All star is just trash. Everything is a homerun.
Eh youre not wrong. It seems to be HRs on questionable PCI placement and decent timing and lazy flyballs with no exit velo on good timing/PCI placement.
Not just an AS issue, its a general game issue - Perfect/Perfect not withstanding -- you're still better (just like last year) to be slightly off on the PCI with early timing than having a center-ish PCI with good timing.

That is literally not how Perfect/Perfect works at all. Perfect Perfect means basically hitting the sweet spot of the bat with perfect swing timing for that location. It SHOULD result in higher exit velos and more often than not hits. P/P swings can go to any field...people (including myself) have even managed to pull some pitches foul on P/P swings.
The top diamond is flyball (means your getting it up in the air), middle is line drive and bottom diamond is grounder (or sometimes low line drive). There would be zero purpose for having P/P results if being early or late was supposed to be the better result.
Game continues to prove my point regarding timing though...in RS last night had several balls center PCI good timing that just lazy fly outs.....guy had early side of good timing on a fairly off center PCI placement and hit a HR. There is some weird dead zone middle-upper PCI. Every time I get good timing with that placement its basically a routine fly out which makes zero sense.
Game ended with me getting a 2-1 win. We both had 4 hits. My 2 runs came off P/P HRs.

how about many of them are using modded controllers....wake up man.....the questionable bombs and level of play is some people are cheating.

Yesterday I watched a game where about 5-6 pitches was smacked pretty much perfect perfect all for it to end up str8 to an outfielder or line drive to second base

Yup....those are the worse. I think I had a P/P go to the warning track with 95 power. Ball was low and I hit it center PCI so maybe just didn't get enough under it....a gapper would have been nice though.
