How do you know he initiated the freeze off?

See I don't wanna publicly say out how to for some losers to do it but sometimes if u spam throwing to the runner at any base it can freeze the game...thats only 1 out of many stupid ways...

i thought if game froze and it wasnt your internet, you win.......ive won a couple by other guy freezing. i do have a vpn though.

Nope. That’s disconnect. If they dc you win. In a freeze the first to back out loses. I’ve never played anyone that intentionally did it as far as I know but one was on a dirt ball to the catcher and the other was on an attempted steal and the catcher froze. The other I hit a ball in the gap and his OF picked it up and froze.
Anyone had it where it wouldn’t let you advance bases on gap hits but as soon as they throw it in your guy takes off to second?

You can also spam picking someone off base to initiate the freeze off as well...

I do that a lot when people take secondary leads, actually picked somebody off today(which was an achievement), but I’ve never had a freeze off in 45 games or so(knock on wood).

Keep it that way...im not saying that it always happens but if u spam it a lot it can freeze the game

I have only had a freeze off when playing someone on the other console. I turned off cross play and haven't had one since.
