Fernando Valenzuela

Why is his price so high compared to the other 1st inning bosses? I'm like this close to selling him
What would be the reason to keep him? I don't use him. Maybe for honus or trout collection?
-
He's really good on legend.

@MadDogTannen777_XBL His screwball is nasty.
-
Hows it thrown?
-
What do you mean?
-
Whats the best way to throw it?
-
To fool hitters after fastballs. In my opinion.

Why? He's got no velocity
You have to throw 75% screwballs and circle change. 25% FB/Curve
You’ll only throw the fastball when your opponent has slowed down his bat speed alot after seeing so many screwballs/changeups

Velocity isn't the end all be all
edit If you completely ignore the past few years of.. hell if I know what to call it. There was extreme velocity..scare the [censored] out batters,, Randy Johnson for example. Then you had the placement style Maddox, Mike Mussina had good velocity but was also considered pinpoint pitching compared to Jim Palmer. Grew up in MD

He's good with the right people. I sold mine when he hit 100k. I'll buy him back after I finish the collections, when I have nothing to save stubs for
