Anyone use World Series Matt Wieters yet?
-
The Show 20 version of this card was my literal MVP last year and easily my favorite card of the entire year.
Seeing his price dip to around 230K is encouraging.
-
He's trash i sold him for 3 adleys and a bat
-
He just came out, give it another 2 weeks and he’ll be down under 60k, give it a month and he’ll be under 40k. With only needing 40 wins to get him, there will be no shortage of availability. They’ve watered this down so much that anyone can get just about any card for cheap. RS cards for WS achievement isn’t like the days of old where they stayed expensive for months.

That's what I'm saying! The fact that he's dipped as low as he has already is promising, IMO.

I guess, if you want him that is. I’m just not liking how they’re watering down everything. I know I seem to be turning into a grumpy old man, but it’s getting a little absurd. You really don’t even need to play that much to attain most of the “rewards” so far this year. Inning program is a gift, every week they’re giving loads of XP for collecting a card that required little effort. I look back to 17 and 18, those were some brutal grinds and by no means am I suggesting we should go back to that hot mess. There’s gotta be a balance between working and achieving something and feeling a sense of accomplishment versus let’s just give everything to everyone so we don’t hear whining. It’s video game version of participation trophies. Just buy the game, play a few hours a week and you can have the same rewards as players that spend hours a day, no separation, no ones allowed to feel more special than anyone else. Ok, old man rant over, sorry for taking your time and space.

I agree. Its getting old facing the same team every time. Everyone has the same players. Its the same meta over and over again. Bosses are already going for 35k on the market when they were the best cards 2 weeks ago (not including trout)
-
No but can't wait to get him.
my favorite catcher last year. Rolled with him forever until I finally figured out how to hit with Jimmie Foxx.
-
I’m gonna stick with Posada. That 60ish contact vs righties is gonna suck on HOF/Legend

You make a very strong argument and while I am someone who is happy how they structured Battle Royale and World Series rewards to avoid the 400 people with Buy Orders for 1,000,000 Stubs thing we saw last year, I can see how it feels that way if you earned a World Series or BR 12-0 reward the old-fashioned way.
-
Yep, all the whiners who couldn’t earn cards or gain enough stubs early in the game to get the WS /BR rewards won.....hopefully SDS changes it next year, not a fan

Loving Adley
-
Im using Adley until his price drops below 100k. I hit 60 wins last season but this will be harder to get 40 bc I started at 450 instead of playing all the bad players at zero
