This is a serious issue and i'm really surprised that SDS hasn't done anything about it yet. There's little to no exit velo reduction for using circle over x.
Have they even acknowledged this?

They're not going to fix it, it's clear now, a month into the game cycle. They have been dumbing this game down for years. First they take balks out, then they slow down pitch speeds, now you can contact swing with 107 exit velo. They already nerf check swings, clearly they could nerf contact swing if they wanted to, but they don't. This game was once a baseball sim, now it's as close to an arcade junk fest as you can get.
