Those that post in this forum silliness like..can't wait for the new "fill in the blank" challenge. Basically, any feedback that even remotely indicates they buy into this MLB the Show fakery.
Also, a lot of repeated canned (bot perhaps) posts I've seen in other seasons. At least, gatekeepers, create some new posts. Tired of seeing the same 'ol "what's the best 3B", "new pack drop..blah..blah", "please more content".
I love, though, the ones were OP's actually point out the complete lack of realism in this game. The futility of trying to get better when you're actually practicing against an AI driven animation that has the result determined before your first swing.
Call it confirmation bias if you want, but it really is fun to dump on any intended marketing-party with a dose of "c'mon, don't buy into the nonsense". Free advertising for SDS in other words. Nice to offer up a counter-point. That's really what forums are for...Correct?
Sorry for being a negative-nancy. I just want to puke sometimes at the ignorance this game really is. But, more wretched and vomit-inducing are those that post the completely naive (or manipulative) posts suggesting the cumbayah theme they try to thread in this forum is anything more than marketing.

I enjoy elements of this game. But I also have a hatred to my very marrow about any suggestion outcomes are based on skill. The same hatred and disgust when I see the AI squandering hours of my time queuing up the same 'ol intelligence-insulting animation.
If I want to watch a baseball game I'll turn on mlb.tv.
Sometimes, with this game, the code finds just the right rhythm and make you feel like you, the user, are actually dictating outcomes. Those are the "moments" that keep me coming back and humming Kumbaya.
