Hey guys, so I'm still playing on allstar difficulty in ranked seasons. Im having alot of trouble hitting because im late on everything. The fastball are a blur. I play franchise on legend and have no difficulty seeing and hitting the ball. And when I play the cpu on allstar I'm usually ahead of pitches. Is my connection to slow? I have around 60mbps download speed is that bad?
Or maybe its upload. When I test my connectiong the first number is 60mbps and the second is around 6 mbps
Latency can be more important than speed. Try finding out your ping and jitter numbers. Tons of speed test sites out there.
While having a higher download and upload speed usually means better latency, it is not always the case.

60 is awful. I'm not super technical with this stuff but mine is around 500-700mbps. I also have hardwired not wifi. It also has to do with ping. Of you live in a more remote area I believe its worse. Someone will chine in with better information.

How would I find out my ping? And thanks
Are you playing on a tv or monitor?

https://fast.com/# will show you loaded and unloaded latency.
Google speed tests and there are tons of others that will give you detailed results.

Make sure it is in game mode
Do you know what your tv’s input lag is? I know you asked about connection speed, but I’m just curious. Somebody mentioned your ping and what not. I would think that would matter more than your connection speed. Did you say you have your PS4 hard wired to your router? Do you have a bunch of other devices on your network? I read that you needed like 35 mbps for 4k at 60hz online gaming. The PS4 can’t do that, so you should need less.
