SDS should be showing the sliders for moments and showdowns. We all know they nerfed them like crazy, I think it would be interesting to see what they truly are. They're so bad sometimes, they're borderline unplayable. I think it's time they are at least transparent about it so we as consumers know what we're up against before we choose to sink our time and energy into it. They have basically said they don't touch them. Idk if it is the way they are programmed or if they adjust the sliders, but they play nothing like the normal game does vs CPU or ranked. Just my opinion. What do y'all think?

What baffles me is in years past you could adjust the sliders all you wanted to and your XP will not get penalized but now if you move them from default you get penalized half of the XP that makes zero sense

It’s because XP is now tied to innings; not hard to figure out

In a game that usually rewards patience, I find myself playing differently in Moments, where a walk is no more beneficial than a strikeout in most cases. I am 10x likelier to get the "what I love there is the freeeedom of that hack" voiceover in this mode. As a result, I strike out more often, which makes me more impatient as I hit restart, which makes me swing at even worse pitches the next time.

Or maybe they are just tinkering with the sliders, high fiving one another as they imagine us trying to land 3 xbh in 4 at-bats as Jaime Navarro fires wild pitches all around the plate.

No need to apologize; didn’t mean to come across like that lol.

A few shows back you could change sliders outside of DD and it affected moments.

Moments became so fun because you could make the AI pitcher locate much better. Of course they patched it a few weeks later and moments went back to being lousy.

It’s evident in final showdown they jacked up pitcher’s stamina. Patrick Corbin should not be able to throw 140 pitches and not have his arm fall off. It shouldn’t take Lee smith 80 pitches to be out of energy, and no Fernando should not be able to get up to 160 pitches and be fine.
