They really need to do something about the fake out BS of someone pausing when they're getting creamed and sending friendly quit right as timer comes up.. I've seen it plenty and now experienced it. It's garbage, and the lowest of the low would do this... If you can't take the beating quit.

First time it's happened to me, just seen others who had mentioned it had happened to them. Won't happen again, and no more mercy for guys with trash rosters going forward either... I see friendly and they can GFC.

Just never hit X. Start hitting square (PS4 or 5) when there is 5 seconds left and if they try the friendly quit, it wont do anything, but if it's a forfeit you'll be pressing square already and they won't have to time to back out of it.

Oddly enough I was hitting square, so not sure how it happened. Been playing for years and always hit square as fast as I can once it hits that timer, still confused as to what happened to be honest.

You're forgetting the ever popular booting you when you're in the lead. That seems to be a regular one this season

No idea what this was, still shows game in log with each team having one hit, and I was smashing the square once the time hit, but didn't seem to count it. Sucks, had a perfect game through 6 going too.

So had another try to send friendly quit, it is in fact square to accept that too.

Not exactly sure what you guys are saying here with the timer? Ppl are waiting for timer to bleed all the way down then send friendly quit hoping you’ll accidentally accept?

Exactly. Timing it the same way the end the game due to time running out.

When someone sends me a FQ I just let the timer run out until they back out or go back to playing. I’m not very good anyway so if I lose it’s expected but if I win I win lol

That's the thing, they waited until the timer ran out, and at that exact moment sent a FQ request, looking like the timer thing.
