I’ll try this out.
I’ve always been taught “aim small, miss small” so I have the settings on just the inner as altitude. Nothing else. Been decent at time and slump at time. Why do i keep hearing this? when i went to rifle training it was " aim small miss big, aim big still hit the target".to teach us to aim for center chest.
I was a machine gunner and it was spray and pray. Same for my hitting lol

I think the thought process is instead of aiming for the chest, one should aim for a button on the shirt/chest. Focus on a smaller target within the main target. That's how I always understood it. I have no formal military/weapons training, but I have been around firearms since I could walk (hunting, etc).

I actually recommend turning the pci off.. it doesn’t work for everyone, but some people find hitting a lot easier with the pci completely off

The sayings arnt really comparable to each other in all honesty. Both are 100% correct in their own respective area. Basically aim small miss small is the second step in your training process, think of the term “center mass”, it’s essentially the combination of both. Mass is the greater surface area to aim for to give you the greater chance of landing the shot, ex. head vs chest (aim small miss big, aim big still hit the target). Center refers to narrowing your focus to allow for the greatest margin of error. If you aim for the whole chest you have a greater chance of missing as compared to focusing on the dead center of the chest.

I didn’t play mlb the show 20. Last one I played was 19. I only play RTTS. In 19 you could use timing hitting. So if you were on time you made solid contact. It seems in this game with RTTS being tied to DD, they don’t allow this. I don’t care to ever play DD or ranked seasons or any of that. Give me back my timing hitting for RTTS please!

It is all preference. Whatever works best for you. There is no correct answer.
