PLAY THE PATCH FIRST

Don't play it for a hour don't play it for a day...Play it for a week and then come back with CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. Don't listen to others complain and then complain with them even though you haven't even tried out the patch. Build your own thoughts and comments.
Most of you on here sound like a bunch of crying babies.

Sorry, but I don’t need to play it for a week when nothing was wrong with hitting for the vast majority of players pre patch. The problem is squared up was already just as bad as last year and they made good good bad too (even before the patch). Perfects were the only thing making hitting better than 19 and now that this drastically reduced them, we are in a worse state than 19 was.

I can feel the major difference within the first few innings and played a couple games to make sure. It’s all I need. When you hit .320 and drop to .280 after 2 games and only huts are homers, yes it’s time to be skeptical. This game sucks now.

You see it every year. A patch comes out and a person plays a half of a game or 1 game and because of a couple odd ball things they blame it all on the patch.

Hitting feels terrible. They ruined the ****ing game. Doesn’t take long to realize this **** is broken

Can't wait to prove all the salty people wrong when I turn on my system after work.

The problem with the game now is that with very small PCIs it is a game made for the top 5% that consistently can get the PCI in the perfect spot on legend with max speeds. All of the rest of the players that maybe don't have gaming monitors, perfect hand eye are now left in the dust. If they would have left the PCI the way it was, increased pitch speeds and make pitching more rewarding, this would have been a fantastic patch. The way it is now though, I can see it driving people away from the game and the online modes.
It's really a shame that this season, SDS have taken a more EA and 2K approach to the way they do the game. Those games were great some time ago but greed and stupid decisions have made them a laughing stock of the video game world at least to the fans and MLB THE SHOW is headed right down the same path. The only people that were complaining about hitting were the one top 5% because other people could hit with them but instead of addressing the real problem, they fixed what wasn't broken. Typical.
At least that's how I see it.

Yeah I’m hoping this isn’t as bad as everyone is making it out to be. I haven’t had a chance to play yet, and I’m not really a great player and I don’t play online a lot but I usually sit between 600-700 in seasons. But I like to spend more of my time playing showdown and conquest games on HoF or Legend and if they did make hitting harder that would definitely make the game less enjoyable for me, so I’m hoping all the negative comments are just coming from people who read patch notes about changing hitting and then went in with a negative mindset and after a few bad things happened blamed the patch

If you can play the CPU and on HOF or Legend you are better than the vast majority of players out there.
