Just finished the stronghold game and won 5-0...shows I earned 5520XP which I admit is strange
idk specifically how XP is earned but you all complaining about not making enough XP is simply ridiculous
Edit: considering that the map was finished by beating the stronghold last, that XP total above may have included the XP for completing the last few missions within the conquest program...just a thought
It isn’t ridiculous because not everyone is getting those levels of XP. I think that is the issue here. I get between 1-2 k xp for a conquest game regardless of how many runs scored or strikeouts.
That’s not the issues here, that’s not even the subject of this post
Even if you’re making 1-2k for conquest games, playing that and playing online modes will easily get you to 350k by end of program
That’s the point here...OP thinks people won’t have enough time to get enough xp to get a boss, and that’s simply not true unless it’s a personal problem
Define easily? Do you mean 2 hours a night every night? That is closing in in 60 hours of play and a lot of people wouldn’t call that easily.
Assuming you’ve completed the program missions, player programs, conquests, and showdown, after completing those....if you play 2 RS games a night, I’m sure you’d hit 350k easily
If you’re an offline player, you could grind through the USA conquest map, showdowns, moments etc and that should still net you enough XP after completing the other listed things above
I am a big advocate of making programs like these inning programs completable by the average player so they too can have access to great cards for free. I think 350k shouldn’t be an issue now with smoother servers. I hope you make it!
Oh I’ll make it. I’m already at 175k but that is with over 4 hours a day but I do think the time needed to just get to 350k starts going outside of casual. TWo RS games a night is almost two hours then start throwing in moments and conquests you are absolutely looking at 60 hours to complete the program.
I don't think casuals (based on your definition of casual) should get the bosses. Henchman feel like the perfect reward for someone that does not play the game that much. Bosses are for more dedicated players and the bundles and live series rewards are for the maniacs.
I think people’s definitions of casual players is pretty skewed. To me putting in 60 hours over a 28 day program isn’t really casual.
What would you consider casual then? 60 hours over 28 days is roughly 2 hours a day (56 hours) with an additional 1 each weekend... that's pretty casual. I probably fall into that category.
lol, that isn't casual at all. 2 hours a day is a lot of time, that's like dedicated play. Imagine you only get 4 hours of free time a day and spend 1/2 of that on video games... that's not casual.
Casual is playing an hour or 2 a WEEK!Which was my point. There are people saying that is what it should take that long to get just to 350k, and that is casual play.
If you average 10k per two hours played, that’s 270xp of you play every day fkr two hours. With the other programs you will get to between 350k-400k.
I just think what people consider casual
On this board is insane, and there are a ton of people that want to gatekeep othersI play 1-2 a hours a day I am not getting to 350k and I accept that

Maybe you do, but it’s how you lose players quickly. The fact it is completely time locked does not help at all. If you play COD and want to level up guns you don’t have a time limit.
-
I don’t like that the program expires completely but otherwise I think it’s totally fine.
I play maybe 10 hours a week and I’ll get the bosses easily. 10 hours might be over the “casual” mark but they have to influence people to put some time into the game.

lol, that isn't casual at all.
True for guns, but not for the seasons. They have seasons in COD that last a month or so, you either grind it out, or miss out. Same concept here.
Now I might agree with you that the XP is too much, but I might not. Going to wait and see how it plays out...Black OPS cold war is currently in season 3:

I don't know what else to tell you man. Multiplayer games expect 2 hours a day at the minimum to get all the rewards. It's an industry standard these days. You couldn't get the program bosses on any less than two hours a day last year either. Sure those didn't expire, but you absolutely needed to do the collection to finish the program after the fact, which was always more expensive that buying the boss you wanted outright. Two hours per day of gaming hasn't been considered a lot for about 5 years now. In terms of this game, two hours a day has always been considered casual IMO. This game is not for you if you want the best rewards playing only a couple of hours a week. Doesn't matter if you have a wife and kids, a life, a job, or whatever. If you can't find 2 hours out of the day for this game then you shouldn't care about getting the rewards

I will add this is done so that you can't play other games without missing out on something, which is pretty crappy to be honest, but it is what it is. If they just gave everything away there would be no challenge or drama.

Casual is playing an hour or 2 a WEEK!Sure, but if you play an hour or two a week you probably shouldn't be getting the inning bosses lmao
As I said, gatekeeping.
And there is a big difference between 1-2 hours a week and 14 hours a week.
Gatekeeping what? You can get the bosses with 14 hours a week when XP tracks correctly. If you want all the rewards with 2 hours of play a week I'm sorry man that's just not how video games work anymore
Two hours a day is a TON of play. It isn’t casual and it isn’t easy. You’re gatekeeping 100%.
It was nowhere near that long last year the conquest map and showdown got you more than one third of the way there by itself. This year Those two things don’t even get you One fifth of the way.
And sure, if I score 5 plus runs I’ll get decent xp in a RS game but bad games which everyone has gets you under 4K.
Just because you and others that constantly play + hours a day think the xp path is fine doesn’t mean it is.

I will add this is done so that you can't play other games without missing out on something, which is pretty crappy to b
e honest, but it is what it is. If they just gave everything away there would be no challenge or drama.I’m not suggesting give it away, but if somehow can pay an hour a day they should easily make the bosses and last year you could. This year it isn’t even going to get you close.

I have a wife and 3 kids, and a full time job, spend over2 hours driving to and from work. I get 2-4 hours a night, I get 6-8 on Sat and Sun if nothing is going on. I made to 650k in first inning. i currently around 170k in inning 2. I played like 30min Tuesday night cause my son had a baseball game and I coach his team. I am a busy dad and husband. Time management and it helps that my wife does not care that I play. I try to make the most out of the time I do have. I am on paste to hit 500-550k, I know another player program is coming soon, i have not and probably will not do the Collection for inning one bosses. I do believe we get good XP for leveling up players that is the only way I figured I got 8k XP vs CPU on AS last night. Time to play a little more attention to that, I might start leveling up players more often. Time Management on what you do in the game. I plan on getting to the 650k again. Not sure how we are moving at toward the end of this inning that will cut into my play time. If you do not have the time then do not expect the rewards. If you are not doing collections and other things that get you XP besides playing the game then do not expect the rewards. To many ways to get XP in this game anyone who playes 2 hours a day should be able to get to the bosses. Do the two Offline dailies, do the missions and collections that have extra XP. If you are not doing these things and just playing RS, BR, or Events with your 2 hours a night. That might not cut it to get enough XP.

“Look at how great I am!”
That is what you took from that. You just making excuses for yourself. How great I am with Time management to reach the goals I want in this game. Yep I figured out the best way I can get to my goal which is 650k. I am not over here complaining or worried about the XP. i am stating how easy it should be by the time the inning is over you should get to the bosses. Who cares how fast others get to them or how much XP other people get. We still have 21 days left to get to what ever goal you are trying to reach. Stop making excuses and just find what gets you the most xp and if you rather play RS which will not get you to the bosses then that is bad use of time on you if the bosses are your goal. If you goal is to get the WS rewards but you do not have the time to play enough to get both . Well that is on you.
